I had the same problem a week ago.

The problem was that PGO could not deal with
message numbers 1876 and 1877.

I went to the "group settings" for this group
in PGO and set the "Start download from message"
to number 1878 and restarted successfully.

I do not know what caused PGO to not like the
messages. When examined on Yahoo, they did not
seem any different from other messages.

Steve Stallings

Hi Steve,
Have tried that too, still no go.
Awaiting Wilson to see if he has any remedy for this. Are you running W7 64bit?
Cheers
Bengt

.... don't laugh....... I am still running
W2K on this machine.

Trying to remember if I did anything else.
I did run the database integrity check and
shut down and restart PGO.

As always with PGO, keep your database well
under the 2GB limit.

Steve

No reason at all, W2K is OK. Yes I know the size issue and have several databases just for that reason, only one group that is struggling. Changed to new PC a while ago from Vista to W7/64 and that is problems enough. Had other groups that did not download some weeks ago but that problem was solved with the remedy you described so I am a bit confused why this group is not behaving.

Hi Bengt,

It just worked for me.  I hadn't used it in over a year.  It downloaded 1000+ messages in about a minute.  I'm running W7 32.
